Fantastic place for the pups

I had the most wonderful stay at Pacific Shores Inn! I got a partial ocean view room, and could see the water from the comfort of my bed each morning. The staff members were kind and welcoming. Their sister property, PB Surf Inn, refilled my water bottle each day which was convenient. There are yoga classes at Palisades park just a quick walk away - 9am Tues/Thurs and more times via PBsunsetyoga on Instagram. The location of the hotel is very walkable, and I was able to jump into the ocean a few times and get back to the room quickly when I was ready to shower off! There are many good restaurants and coffee shops nearby - I recommend Kono’s and Better Buzz. Ray’s Rentals also offers a discount for hotel guests for a beach cruiser rental :) The hotel gave me a slightly later check out time which helped make my last morning extra special and full of fun activities. Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

What a fantastic location! You're truly one minute from the beach and surrounded by cafés, bars, and restaurants. It feels like coastal travel at its best. The great: Freshly renovated rooms, charming coastal décor with plantation shutters, and a new bathroom that feels clean and modern. There is plenty of parking, the staff are friendly, and the overall environment feels clean and safe. For the price, it is an impressive value. The not-so-great: There is no kettle or microwave, and the windows don’t open, so you miss out on enjoying the ocean breeze. The pillows were very thin, although luckily I had brought my own. I stayed in Room 53 at the front. While traffic noise didn’t bother me as a city person, the flag rope tapping against the pole went on all night. Overall, this is a great place to stay and I would absolutely recommend it. The negatives are minor inconveniences rather than deal-breakers. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was nice, clean, spacious, with a microwave, small refrigerator, and a table with two chairs. The bathroom was nice, clean, and the location is right next to the beach( 2 minute walk. ) I think others that complain about the smell do not realize what the ocean smells like. The room did not smell, but the drain in the bathroom smelled a little like ocean water (which makes sense). Bathroom was nice and spacious, but if you’re a bigger person or are more round in the middle, you might struggle to get into the shower (we didn’t have issues). All of the staff from the cleaning service people to the front desk were extremely nice, check in was super easy, and plenty of parking at this location. Outsides have comfortable porches to sit at and relax. Beds and pillows were comfortable, AC works very well. They have room service until 9, though we didn’t order it as well like to walk around town. There are washers and dryers to clean your clothes, and an outside shower on site to clean the sand from the beach before going back to your room. Tv has plenty of channels. Would gladly stay here again.

Cute place to stay. The location was prefect, right by the beach. We walked everywhere. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room were clean and beach vibes. The rooms were, quite, you didn't hear any noises from outside. A good night sleep . Highly recommend .

We love that they allow us to bring our small pups with us! The location is awesome!! It's only a 2-minute walk to the beach! The price is average in the summer and great in the winter and the service is also great!
