Seriously, do not book a room here. If you do, there might not be a spot left for me next time. Here is why you should definitely "avoid" it: The views are too good: You’ll spend your whole trip staring at the Pacific instead of checking your emails. The beds are dangerous: They are so comfortable you will sleep through your alarm and miss your morning run. The staff are too nice: They’ll treat you so well that going back to your real life will feel like a tragedy. The location is a problem: Being steps from the best tacos and beaches in San Diego makes it impossible to leave. 5 stars. Now please, go find somewhere else to stay so my favorite room is available for my next visit! Would you like me to add the Pacific Shores Inn to make this review more official... Sincerely, SH & HB

We came from Michigan to visit our son who moved to the area. We had THE BEST time and we were so happy with our stay at Pacific Shores Inn and will definitely be back! We came in late and woke up to the most beautiful view. The entire area was great and we LOVED the easy access to the beach...the sunsets were incredible!

Excellent location about 1 block from the beach! It is a no-frills room, but tasteful decor and clean, white sheets and linens. Great price for the location, friendly service, and free parking.

Rooms were nice and clean. Location was excellent with easy access to the beach. Parking was a little crowded if you arrive in late evening, but we always managed to find a spot. Pool was a really good temperature! Only downside is there were a lot of people living out of cars and vans right outside the window on the public street, but this isn't the hotel's fault.

This place is a rare gem on the beach. It's about a 200 foot walk to be on the beach. Perfect for a more adult crowd looking for a mellow beach stay. The rooms have everything you need and all the staff was extremely friendly. It was quite the pleasant stay. Thanks folks!

I’m actually surprised they’re really good. Each units were spacious clean and great location next to the beach! Also the front desk person was really nice. We were carrying luggage and i’m glad there was a space where we could pick them up before checking in.

Clean, dog friendly hotel, GREAT location for a vacation at the beach ⛱️. The interior looks exactly as on the hotel's site.
